I've always thought these were scams just because a hosting company can't survived on one time payments granted unless your seller but still you need monthly or yearly income to keep your hosting company going. Ebay has been place I see this going on.
I have ran by a few of these always gave me odd feeling since I feel like three months down the road that hosting company would go down.
